Terms and Conditions – Spacelink Kenya
1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions ("Agreement") govern the provision of satellite internet installation and related services ("Services") by Spacelink Kenya ("Company", "we", "us", or "our") to any client or customer ("Client", "you", or "your"). By engaging our services, you agree to abide by these terms.
2. Scope of Services
Spacelink Kenya provides the following services:

Consultation and site assessment for Starlink installation

Delivery and installation of Starlink hardware (dish, router, mounting equipment, etc.)

Signal alignment, Wi-Fi configuration, and performance testing

Post-installation support and basic troubleshooting
We do not manufacture or resell Starlink hardware, but may assist in facilitating purchases through authorized distributors.
3. Service Eligibility
Our services are available across Kenya to individuals, businesses, institutions, and organizations. Installation requests may be subject to feasibility based on terrain, infrastructure, or signal obstruction.
4. Client Responsibilities
By requesting installation services, you agree to:

Ensure the installation site is safe and accessible

Obtain permission from property owners (if applicable)

Provide accurate location details for scheduling

Pay the agreed service fee in full, as per invoice
Clients must also ensure they have a functioning Starlink kit before installation. We are not responsible for faulty or incomplete kits provided by third-party sellers.
5. Pricing and Payment
Service fees vary depending on location, complexity of installation, and required accessories (e.g., poles, mounts). A quote will be provided before service begins. All payments must be made via the agreed method (MPESA, bank transfer, or cash) before or upon completion of the installation.
We reserve the right to revise prices without prior notice for future engagements.
6. Installation Warranty
We provide a 14-day installation workmanship warranty, covering:

Dish stability and mounting

Cable integrity

Basic configuration settings
This warranty does not cover:

Faulty or damaged Starlink hardware

Software updates or firmware-related issues

External damage due to weather, tampering, or misuse
For extended support, additional service charges may apply.
7. Limitations of Liability
Spacelink Kenya shall not be held liable for:

Internet service disruptions caused by Starlink or SpaceX

Signal issues due to geographical or environmental factors beyond our control

Delays caused by shipping, customs, or hardware unavailability

Data loss or equipment damage unrelated to our installation
You acknowledge that satellite internet performance depends on many factors, including obstructions, weather, and satellite network status.
8. Cancellation and Rescheduling
If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, kindly notify us at least 24 hours in advance. Failure to do so may incur a cancellation fee of KES 2,000 to cover logistics and technician travel costs.
9. Intellectual Property
All content on our website, including logos, installation guides, and service materials, are the intellectual property of Spacelink Kenya and may not be reproduced or distributed without permission.
10. Data Privacy
We respect your privacy. Any personal information collected (e.g., name, address, contact details) is used solely for service delivery and will not be shared with third parties without consent, except where required by law.
11. Dispute Resolution
In case of any dispute or dissatisfaction, we encourage clients to contact us directly for resolution. If the issue cannot be resolved amicably, both parties agree to submit to Kenyan law and jurisdiction.
12. Modifications to Terms
Spacelink Kenya reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Updated terms will be posted on our website and will take effect immediately upon publication.
